Real. Authentic. Unscripted Wedding Photography

Here’s a little look at some of my favourite moments I’ve captured; real ones, not staged-for-the-camera ones. The big stuff, the quiet stuff and everything in between.

My approach is mostly candid / documentary, which is just a nicer way of saying I let the day unfold and capture it as it actually happens. But don’t worry, we’ll still sneak off 10 minutes for a few portraits; nothing stiff or awkward, just relaxed, natural and me probably being a weirdo behind the camera to try and get the natural smiles going.

If you’re planning a wedding that looks great but doesn’t take itself too seriously, we’ll probably get along very well.

Perfectly imperfect wedding photography, to me, is about letting go of the idea that everything has to look flawless; it’s the wind in your hair, the not so soft smiles, the tears, the all-chins-out belly laughs and the moments that Pinterest could never; these are the photos that feel the most real and in turn, those are the memories that mean the most.

I’m not here to create perfection, I’m here to capture your day exactly as it was; honest, emotional and beautifully imperfect.
